Jack Chi Tux is a handsome male Jack Russell Terrier cross Chihuahua (Jack Chi), born on 19 March 2019, who is looking for a special new home before the end of June 2026. Tux was rescued several years ago and, while he has come a long way, he still carries some of the insecurities from his past. He is a character-filled little dog with a confident, dominant personality and a strong sense of awareness of everything happening around him. Tux will quickly alert you to visitors, activity at the gate, or anything he feels deserves your attention, making him an excellent little watchdog.

While Jack Chi Tux gets along well with other dogs, he is not suited to a home with cats or children. He becomes uncomfortable around children and will bark when he sees them. Tux is also not a dog who enjoys being picked up and can become anxious if handled in ways he does not like. He can be skittish at times and may even urinate when frightened or stressed. Because of this, he needs patient owners who understand that trust is earned over time and who will allow him to settle in at his own pace.

Behind his tough exterior is a gentle and affectionate little dog who enjoys companionship on his own terms.
