Pekingese Estie is a proud and charming 10-year-old female Peke who proves that age is just a number. This spirited senior little lady is wonderfully independent and remains incredibly active for her age, preferring to keep to herself and explore her surroundings rather than being constantly cuddled in your arms. While she is not a demanding lap dog, this beautiful platgesiggie has a wonderfully affectionate side and will happily trot over to seek attention on her own terms when she is ready for some love.

Unlike many older dogs, this lively ouma absolutely loves to play—though you can leave the toys and balls aside. Instead, Pekingese Estie prefers interactive games with her humans; she delights in being chased, playing hide-and-seek, or engaging in a fun game when you playfully stamp your feet. When the household settles down, she is perfectly comfortable being left home alone during the day, as she is fully toilet trained and excellent at keeping herself happily occupied.

This resilient little purebred has adapted beautifully to life with just one eye, after an unfortunate injury as an eight-week-old puppy required its removal. Her single eye doesn’t slow her down in the slightest, and she navigates her world with total confidence and ease. When it comes to family life, she is completely fine with children and possesses a sweet, curious nature, often wandering over to investigate why a baby might be crying. While she did live harmoniously with a cat five years ago, her reaction to felines after such a long absence is currently unpredictable.

As a true homebody, she is not accustomed to walking on a leash and will much prefer having free run of a secure garden where she can stay active at her own pace. This endearing little soul is ready to bring her unique spark and independent charm into a calm, loving household. To make her story even more special, Estie can be adopted with her daughter Brandy.
