Cupid’s Profile
Adopt Boston Terrier CUPID
Finding the right serene household to adopt Boston Terrier Cupid requires an appreciation for a male companion who is as gentle as he is handsome. At 2 years and 5 months old, Cupid is the docile and calm counterpart to his sister, Daisy. While he shares her purebred lineage, Cupid moves through life with a quieter energy. He is a true gentleman who seeks out gentle affection and values a peaceful, predictable home environment where he can be pampered.
Cupid is a remarkably socialized male who lives in perfect harmony with other dogs and cats. He possesses a gentle temperament that makes him an ideal match for families with children or seniors looking for a low-fuss companion. Like his sister, he is a “conversationalist” who will vocally greet you when you return home, letting you know exactly how much he missed your company. He is a fantastic traveler who eagerly jumps into the car, finding his favorite spot to watch the world go by.

While Cupid is a docile soul, he does share the breedโs high need for human proximity. He experiences separation anxiety and can become distressed when left alone for long periods. He thrives in an environment where he receives individual attention and is treated as a baby of the family. He is fully toilet trained and walks with poise on a lead, though he does prefer to stay dry and is naturally skeptical of water and rain.
At night, Cupid is a dedicated cuddler. He prefers to sleep in his own bed, but on cooler nights, he will happily find his way under the duvet to snuggle by your feet. Cupid is a sweet, gentle dog who simply wants to be loved, walked, and included in every family moment.
The Ideal Match
- A home where Cupid can receive the individual attention and “lap-time” he craves.
- Owners who are home frequently to manage his separation anxiety with patience.
- A multi-pet household with other friendly dogs or cats is perfectly suitable.
- A secure environment where he can feel safe during storms and fireworks.
- Families who will appreciate his vocal greetings and conversational nature.
- A lifestyle that prioritizes indoor living and a high standard of boutique care.

Sibling Consideration
Cupid is eligible for a joint placement with his sibling, Daisy. While they share a harmonious bond, Small Dog Adoptions prioritizes the long-term emotional stability of every companion.
We are mindful of ‘Littermate Syndrome’โa behavioral phenomenon where siblings become so intensely bonded that they fail to integrate individually with their human family. While Daisy and Cupid currently show no symptoms of this, Daisy does demonstrate a more dominant personality, often seeking priority attention. We generally recommend separate placements to ensure each dog can flourish as an independent companion. However, for an elite household with extensive breed experience, a joint transition will be considered upon consultation.
