Beautiful purebred Miniature Dachshund Luna has a loving, affectionate nature and a huge desire to be close to her people. At just 1 year and 8 months old, she thrives on attention, enjoys being held, showering her family with kisses, and happily curls up beside you whenever given the chance. A true lap dog at heart, Luna is happiest when she is part of the daily activities of her household.

Having previously enjoyed the freedom of a large garden, Luna would be best suited to a home where she has secure outdoor space to run, explore, and burn off some of her energy. She is not yet comfortable walking on a leash and tends to become overly excited, so her new family should be prepared to continue her training and help her develop better lead manners through patience and consistency.

She adores her toy collection, enjoys sleeping in bed with her humans, and is always on the lookout for an unattended sock or item of clothing to “borrow” from the laundry basket. She can struggle when left alone for extended periods and may become destructive if bored or lonely.
