Sophie is an 18-month-old female Yorkshire Terrier with a gentle, affectionate nature. She can be shy when meeting new people, particularly men, but once she bonds with someone—usually a female—she becomes deeply devoted. Sophie is a true lap companion who loves to cuddle in your arms or settle beside you on the couch. At night, she enjoys sleeping close to her people, often curled up on a cushion where she feels safe and warm.

She is wonderfully social with other animals and happily plays with dogs of all sizes, from fellow Yorkies to larger breeds like Rottweilers and Border Collies. Sophie also adores cats and has spent the past three months helping “raise” four young kittens—playing with them and curling up beside them for naps. She enjoys car rides, is comfortable around a pool (though she has no interest in swimming), and while she does bark occasionally, she is not a constant yapper.

Sophie is still learning a few household routines.
